As soon as we change the server name to that of the cluster we get the familiar 'Login failure: Check user password, and/or setups.'. Follow simple guide for Xerox Versalink C405 Setup, manual, driver download, driver install, scanner, toner and troubleshooting. The passwords an usernames are identical it I'm able to successfully scan to the shares on the server. Our user home drives are located on a server cluster, if we set up the Scan to Network to go to a share on one of the individual servers, it works as advertised with user authentication.

I've been scratching my head over this for well over 1 month, as my network pcs slowly applied the windows update and disabled their scan to folders. I know that SMB is configured properly because I have a Ricoh 2851 with SMB scanning configured. For those looking for resolution, I had a similar issue with a RICOH SP 4510SF not scanning to folder after windows update. This will be 0 if no session key was requested. I know that communication is hitting the server because I'm recieving the following message on the server:įailure Reason: Unknown user name or bad password. Server Path: "Folder\Sub Folder\Sub Folder" We are repeatedly recieving the error message: 016-782 We're having trouble setting up scanning to SMB share on Windows Server 2008 R2 Std. I'm just going to open a ticket week after next when I get back from vacation. We own a Xerox Phaser 6180MFP-N. The message immediately went out - aaannnndd - nothing. Enabled the connector and restarted the Transport service and it immediately went out and about 45 seconds later it showed up in the mailbox.ĭid it again and sent it to the user's mailbox, it hit the queue, I enable the connector and restarted the service. Ok, I just disabled the Send connector on Exchange, sent a scan to the second mailbox and it was sitting in the queue. I can't use Message Trace because it only lets me select on-premise mailboxes. I've looked in the Exchange Toolbox Queue Viewer and it's empty. The scanners send to our on-premise Exchange server which just relays to O365. You said in your original post that the scanner logs are showing the email sending fine but where does the email go after that? If it goes through a internal forwarder and then an external one you should check each step along the path to see where the email disappears. So the trace didn't show it, yet the scan was delivered when I sent it to both at the same time.ĭid you run the trace with the Message-ID from the email headers?

But when I then sent two individual scans - only the one to the second mailbox is there. I just looked and the scan sent to both at the same time shows both recipients.

Again the second one got it - and it shows up in a message trace.Įdit: We have a rule that copies all inbound and outbound email to a 'journaling' mailbox. Right-click on your printer icon and select Set as default printer. To make your main printer your default, click navigate to Printers and Faxes in Windows. Then I sent individual scans to both mailboxes. Solutions: First, check that you sent the print job to the right printer you may very well be printing dozens of documents in the next department. And I searched on both at once and each individually. Check a message trace - it showed nothing for either mailbox. Sent a scan to both emails, it showed up in the second mailbox within 30 seconds. Can you try sending the scan to the working mailbox and the non working one in the same email and then look the message up in Exchange admin center > mail flow > message trace? If that message doesn't show up for both mailboxes, I would look at the sending side and make sure nothing is being filtered there.
